We are…

A self-help group specifically designed to assist African American women afflicted with breast cancer, their family members and significant others by providing information, resources and peer support.

We exist to…

1. Educate women on the importance of monthly self-examination, annual mammograms, and the vital importance of early detection of abnormalities in the breasts.
2. To be of spiritual and practical support to women from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
3. To disseminate breast cancer education information to the community at-large.

Women of Faith and Hope, Inc. was founded in 1996 by an African American female breast cancer survivor who lost her mother to breast cancer in 1975. We are a private nonprofit organization.
